The program offered funding to successful applicants to support the installation of exclusion fencing. This approach reflects the growing recognition of exclusion fencing as a viable and effective tool for managing wild dogs.

In 2024, @ellie_hays @agrista.au was engaged to carry out a return on investment (ROI) evaluation of the electric fences installed on two properties that participated in the program.
